Dr. Ian Storch was born and raised in Long Island, New York.  After completing residency and Chief Residency at North Shore University Hospital, he did his fellowship training at the University of Miami.

Dr. Storch started reading capsules in 2001 when the procedures was first FDA approved.  He has read over 2,000 studies over the past 15 years and has peer reviewed papers and abstracts on the subject.

As an expert in the field Dr. Storch has read many second opinions internationally and defended physicians from Capsule related Suits.

Dr. Storch is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Hofstra School of Medicine and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicines.  He lectures at both institutions on various topics including Capsule Endoscopy.
